- Jennifer Lopez is set to perform at the Super Bowl 2020 Halftime Show with Shakira.
- The star often posts her intense fitness routines and pictures of her sculpted muscles on Instagram.
- Her routine includes a variety of training techniques, including heated workouts, dedicated abs routines, and more.
Watching J.Lo totally smash a workout is almost as entertaining as one of her concerts.
In addition to adorable couples’ workouts, J.Lo is a big fan of TruFusion . The studio specializes in heated workouts with power, yin, aerial or vinyasa yoga, battleropes, boxing, bootcamp, cycling, kettlebells, barre, Pilates, and TRX, all on the schedule. (Phew.)
J.Lo of course works on her abs, too. Her trainer told that J.Lo’s typical core workout starts with a set of 50 hanging abs raises, 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit ups with a 45-pound plate. Note the key word starts… That’s one set, then J.Lo does a second set with 35 reps and a third set with 21 reps.
That definitely doesn’t sound easy, but it’s nothing compared to her pole dancing training for Hustlers . J.Lo said, “This was definitely one of the hardest things Ive ever done physically.” The superstar worked with the film’s lead choreographer Johanna Sapakie (nbd, she’s performed with Cirque du Soleil) and trained on a pole installed in her own living room.
One of her trainers, David Kirsch, told People in 2017: “Shes genetically blessed, shes physically gifted with an incredible amount of physical energy, but also this beautiful amount of mental and emotional energy. Shes very connected to her body, and shes got crazy discipline.”
