The actor is proud of his beautiful and rich Venda culture and further encouraged people, especially the youth to recognise the relevance of soapies such as Muvhango.
Speaking to Times LIVE, McDonald emphasised the importance of taking pride in one’s mother tongues.
Being a part of Muvhango has filled McDonald with a sense of gratitude and honour for his Venda culture.

The mother of two penned a lengthy Instagram post, where she stated that a ‘no English’ rule has been enforced in her household. She further explained that her two sons alternate between IsiZulu and SeSotho – which are languages spoken by her and her husband.
