Max Chinnah, a 26-year old Nigerian inventor, has invented a smokeless stove that could cook and charge phones .The young inventor said the need to positively affect human lives led him into doing something that can help people.
Chinnah has made history as he patented his new invention, a smokeless stove, together with his partner, Attigah. According to a Daily Times report, the Nigerian inventor, hopes that his invention would help in the saving of lives around the world.
His company called Terraoak is going into large scale production of the smokeless stove. The company is also looking at marketing the product to campers for outdoor recreational activities. Also, that the company is working on an arrangement to distribute 1,000 stoves to rural Kenyan farmers.
The Nigerian inventor said that though he has always wanted to be an entrepreneur, helping people is closer to his heart. He hopes new invention will impact positively on the environment in ensuring a greener environment and reducing the threat of global warming.
Though Chinnah holds a degree in computer science, it was the experience he had at the Clinton Global Initiative conference in Miami that inspired his career as an inventor. He said his strong urge to be an entrepreneur was directed to another path where he could actually do something to impact positively on people’s lives.
