Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife marks his 5th year of coronation anniversary as the imperial king of Ile-Ife kingdom.
It has been 5 years since His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II ascended the throne of his forefathers in the source city of Ile-Ife.
The Ooni has experienced 5 years of peaceful reign within and outside of his kingdom.
Ever since his coronation, the king has used his imperial position to build bridges and mend walls among kings and elders across Yorubaland and all over Nigeria.
Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has leveraged on his youthfulness and education to increase the profile of the throne and palace of the Ooni more than most kings before him. Since his coronation, Ile-Ife has become Mecca for people from all walks of life.
As a result, the King and his beautiful queen continue to play hosts to important leaders, politicians, top dignitaries and celebrities within and outside Nigeria, while also receiving high level invitations to important meetings and events around the world.
