A new report has indicated that while coronavirus infect people of all ages, children are less affected by the virus. Medical experts believe that this may be partly because of their stronger immune systems.
According to parents24, so far, many children below 12 years have shown limited symptoms of the virus and are coping with minimum treatment. However, people with health conditions such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease are considered more vulnerable to succumb easily to the attack of the virus.
Also, a report produced by a group of international public health leaders indicates that children are not necessarily vulnerable to the coronavirus as the impact of the virus is mild among children and teenage age groups. Statistics from the report suggest that individuals under the age of 18 experience a “relatively low attack rate” of the virus, about 2.4%.
