The 14th of March proved to be a monumental for Tanzanian born star Rajab Abdul Kahali better known as Harmonize. He launched his long awaited album Afro East it took place in De es Salaam Tanzania at Millminai City hall where he put up an electrifying showcase of the songs on the album.
This album was released under his own record label called Konde Music worldwide, The event was a star studded event as it was graced by the former Tanzanian president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete as the Guest of honour, his fellow artists as Country boy, Hammiso Mobetto Lady Jaydee Izzo Bizness amongst many others
One particular issue that stood out was the absence of his former record label counterparts namely Wasafi Classic Baby (WSB).
Harmonize rise to stardom was in 2011 but in 2015 he finally got his breakthrough where he signed that thereto Diamond Platinums record label. They later parted ways with many reports saying that Harmonize felt left out.
Although Diamond Platinums was not in attendance sent out a congratulatory message message where he commended him on putting out one of the most amazing albums in 2020. It seems as though there is no bad blood between the two artists.
Hrarmonize describes the album as the sound of East Africa which brings a fusion of different styles from Bongo flava to afro beats. It has notable collaborations such as Burnaboy, Yemi Alade, Mr EAZI just to mention a few.
