Last Monday in Italy, a 23-year-old Egyptian man and 40-year-old Tunisian woman caught having sex in the car have been arrested for breaching the lockdown rule that all individuals should be in their houses amid coronavirus outbreak.
The reports say apart from flouting the decency laws, they have chosen a bad time for their roadside fling.
They were accused of ignoring a quarantine rule which bans two people from being in the front or back of a vehicle together.
In Italy, as the virus causes unabated havoc, authorities have been keeping an eagle eye on all road vehicles in order to enforce relevant restrictions to keep the country safe.
Italians are only allowed outside to buy food, give or receive medical care, or travel to work if absolutely necessary.
It is surprising why the couple chose to make out in a car despite ample opportunities for indoor entertainment. They were arrested in Mecenate near Milan – an area that has been heavily affected by the outbreak.
In a related report, a family relaxing on a lawn was ordered to move by police in San Donato Milanese.
Reports confirm that the region of Lombardy which includes Milan has had the largest number of cases in Italy and hospitals in the area are struggling to cope with the heavy workload.
Italy now requires anyone entering the country to self-isolate for 14 days unless they are only stopping over for 72 hours or can prove that they must go to work.
More than 300,000 people have contracted the novel coronavirus and at least 12,944 have died globally with death toll in Italy rising to 793 as at this morning (March 22).
