He says he does not normally work from the garage but the pandemic has pushed him to work from his plywood-lined garage.
Adam Mosseri, who’s worth about $120 million says he now works from home in San Francisco.
Moserri is blowing the horn of ‘STAY-AT-HOME’ – a campaign Instagram launched about a week ago. A dedicated tab is on Instagram to that effect. It is at the top of its news feed – users share updates via this tab.
Mosseri revealed that the “Stay at Home” Instagram stories were so popular it almost crashed the site few hours after it went live.
With many people bored-to-death at home during this trying period, Moserri and his team must work hard to keep their servers up and running while much of the world is forced to shift their lives online.
Instagram has also been up and doing in fighting against inaccurate and potentially dangerous misinformation about the coronavirus and other matters.
He has to do all these from his garage – battling unprecedented amount of traffic on the site.
But it’s also good business for him. If he doesn’t love the garage – he must pray coronavirus goes quickly.
