A large crowd allegedly burst out onto the streets in Plateau State Nigeria defying lockdown because of anger as they shout “All Akbar”. The video is primarily viral on WhatsApp. It was sent us agogo news.com from Nigeria.
The video was posted online by one Bishop Uwe Akan with the caption “The people of Plateau say they can longer stay in the house…This is caused by a bad govt…Look the risk”
However, there has not been any official statement from the state government on the matter to ascertain the veracity of the story or clear the air that nothing of that nature happened in the state.
As as press time, we could not established if another online ‘media-stunt’ or a real event.

CROWD DEFY LOCKDWON IN NIGERIA
Plateau is the twelfth-largest state in Nigeria that sits approximately in the centre of the country.
It is geographically unique in Nigeria due to its boundaries of elevated hills surrounding the Jos Plateau its capital, and the entire plateau itself.
Plateau State is celebrated as “The Home of Peace and Tourism”.
With natural formations of rocks, hills and waterfalls, it derives its name from the Jos Plateau and has a population of around 3.5 million people.
