Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema, has opened a can of worms after defending Shimza’s arrogance.
The politician found himself trending for the wrong reasons when Black Twitter attacked him for rallying behind the DJ, who many said should be cancelled.
Shimza had a fair share of Black Twitter’s insults this past Easter weekend after he snubbed DJ Ceega wa Meropa, who wanted to be featured, on one of his lock-down shows.
Although Shimza apologised, many said he must be cancelled and reminded of how he was before his rise to stardom.
Malema decided to weigh in his 2 cents, but he added fuel to the already raging fire when he defended Shimza and said, he should not be shaken by those who suffer from self-hate.
Never be shaken by rubbish young man @Shimza01. You worked very hard to be where you are and can’t be destroyed by those who suffer from self-hate. Apology accepted, now continue playing good music.
