Nigerian singer Teni has taken to her social media page to react to the recent lockdown extension.
Not many Nigerians are happy that the lockdown was extended even though they realise that it is for the good of everyone.
While some complained that the extended lockdown means extended days of staying at home in hunger and starvation, others prayed that the coronavirus pandemic quickly blows away so that they can get back to their normal life as they are bored of being at home.
Teni shared a video of her eating Eba and assorted Okro soup.
The singer said that food would be her best friend during this lockdown.
“I’ve been through a lot of things in my life, I have never been through boredom like this. I’m going mad because food was my best friend, now, food is my bestest friend. I’m at home 24hours, what do you expect me to be doing? It’s eating. It’s food and I am afraid of my stomach because, at the rate at which I’m going inside this 14 days lockdown, my stomach will burst. We are in prison,” she said in the video.
