One of Africa’s top music maestro, Peter Okoye (of the old P.Square Duo) says he had nothing when he met Lola Omotayo-Okoye, his wife and that he’s the gold digger.
Mr P, as he fondly called, said he met my wife 18 years ago and that when me met her: “When I met her, I f**king had nothing. Men, I’m telling you. Not every woman is a harlot, whore or slay mama”.
He advised guys to always pick the woman they admire and make her into what they desire. He said his wife has made him look better and younger than the way he was when he met her 18 years ago.
He emphasised the need to invest in women and make them what the men aspire – adding that Lola was never perfect.
He said choosing the right woman brings peace of mind which he now enjoys with Lola.
Peter and Lola got married in 2013 after dating for seven years. They are blessed with two kids
The member of the now-defunct P.Square music group preached these ‘sermons’ during a Live Instagram session.
P-Square were a Nigerian duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye who produced and released their albums through Square Records.
They signed a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label December 2011 and signed another a record distribution deal with Universal Music’s South African branch in May 2012.
On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group disbanded.
Reports about a breakup surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group’s lawyer.
Before the report, they disbanded in 2016 over a rift about the role of their manager.
