She died at the ripe age of 87. She gave up the ghost in her Lagos residence located near Ejigbo, NNPC.
Her burial process should be on by now according to Islamic rite.
The news was revealed in a statement issued by MC Oluomo’s Media and Publicity team on Thursday Morning.
Parts of the statement read: “The members of the family, however, appreciate everyone that has been calling to condole with the family since the news. We appreciate and understand that there are so many people who would have loved to pay their last respect to our late Mother Alhaja Abebi Zinat Omotonwo but will be unable to do so due to the present ban on large gatherings.”
A Facebook post by Femi Akinboyeku a.k.a Jplum also confirmed the death of Oluomo’s mom. Jplum is one of the close friends of Oluomo and also a member of the NURTW.
