Authorities in the United States of America (USA) have authorized the use of remdesivir to treat serious virus cases – a major clinical trial suggested that the antiviral helped patients with serious cases of COVID-19 recover faster.

Though the Covid-19 fatalities increase in the U.S but more states eased pandemic lockdown. Texas is the largest state yet to ease lockdowns – reporting 50 deaths on Thursday, the highest since the outbreak began.

Texas permits 25% capacity operation for its stores, restaurants, movie theaters, malls, museums and libraries but residents are advised to wear face masks and embrace social distancing.

However, the U.S warns China further that it should stop “slow-walking” coronavirus data, thereby putting the lives of Americans at risk.

Europeans nations are easing lockdown regulations but India, that has locked down 1.3 billion people would continue for two more weeks.

Receptionist Diane Curtis said of the coronavirus: “Eventually it’s like every other sickness that comes around. It’ll go away but it’ll probably take time.”
