50% of world’s chameleon and 70 species of lemurs are ONLY IN MADAGASCAR & more facts

Global spotlight has been on Madagascar lately due to the herbal remedy the French colony invented for the cure of Covid-19. Hitherto overlooked and regarded as one of the poorest countries in the world, there are many other other interesting facts about the Republic of Madagascar, previously known as the Malagasy Republic.

The Red Island is highly endowed with lots of primordial plants and animal species, amongst other fascinating peculiarities.

The newest addition to the interesting fact about Madagascar is though it makes only about GDP per capita of €652 annually, and has been constantly ranked one of the poorest countries in the world, the Red Island has added a colourful feather to her cap with the recent discovery of organic concoction to cure patients infected with the CoronaVirus.

Though the World Health Organisation (WHO) in a statement has warned against any self-medication, stating that it has not recommended any medicine as a cure for the COVID-19.

Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina has recommended the herbal concoction saying: “All trials and tests have been conducted and its effectiveness has been provided in reducing and elimination of symptoms from COVID-19 patients in Madagascar”.
