The Empire star, Bryshere Gray is being sued for jumping in and out of windows often, clogging the toilets by flushing down condoms, smoking weed and eating breakfast in one of the bathrooms and his dog damaging the apartment he lived. The landlord indicated that most of these excesses are not permitted in the lease agreement.
The star actor is also accused of leaving his dog inside the condo for extended periods of time – allowing the dog to mess up the environment with urine and feces. The hardwood floors, stairs, and other parts of the property were damaged in the process.
One of the actor’s aides said Gray had agreed to take care of the bills and that the suit was unnecessary.
Gray rented a condo inside the four-unit Chicago complex back in August 2019, where these problems happened.
Repair would cost about $26,120 but the the landlords said claims for demands fell on deaf ears. Now they are suing for the damages needing extra $7,000 to cover attorneys’ fees.
In Charlie’s words, who represents the actor:
“We have reached out to Gray’s team and his manager, Gray was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) some years ago, and unfortunately, this is a result of that. He’s a great person and it will be taken care of. It will be handled. There is money inside of his security deposit that should rectify whatever issues the landlord has. It is sad that the landlord has chosen this way to handle this but we will do what is needed to make sure it is taken care of.
There are pictures attached to the lawsuit showing the alleged damages, including the alleged plate of breakfast in the bathroom.”
