Lots of ladies make their intentions known to marry, Nigerian-British Boxer Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua shortly Anthony Joshua (AJ).
These ladies are responding to the revelations by the two-time unified heavyweight champion’s
challenges in finding true love, stating that he’s yet to find someone to call his girlfriend.
The WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO title holder recently revealed TheSunUK about life in lockdown with his family including becoming “super dad” to his four-year-old son, JJ.
He confessed that balancing professional and family life has not been easy.
He has conquered many great men in the ring but he struggles to have his heart conquered by true love.
He has plenty of titles but husband is not one of them. AJ says: “I think you can date and still be a successful sportsman but it’s hard to find a balance and I would have to compromise — which I’ve not felt able to do. My dad never gave me advice about much. But in terms of relationships what I have learnt and what I tell my son is, it would be nice to find a high school sweetheart and to grow together because as you get older you get set in your ways”.
He’s not sure how easy it would be for him to compromise and. make a relationship work as he aspires further in his boxing career. He said he refuses to date or put any lady in a position where hopes are high.
He opines that his future girlfriend must know how to handle fame and that he has not had a girlfriend in a while.
He believes in growing together with her:“I don’t have a girlfriend and I haven’t had one for a while. But as I get older I do think it would be nice to have someone, someone to grow with as well — but I honestly haven’t found anyone.”
He thinks to be extroverted and mingling with top celebs may make favour smile on him. His kind of girl must be understanding, secured, down to earth, family-oriented and someome who would take his parents as her parents.
He said: “It takes time to grow that and, as I said, now I am older I am stuck in my ways. As I get older it would be nice to bring someone into my world but it’s dependent on who and I just haven’t found someone yet. Maybe we can go on a hunt. We have all the time now”.
