A few months ago, Waka singer, Salawa Abeni, took to social media to call for help from Nigerians after she was blackmailed by someone who threatened to release her nude photos if she did not pay some money.
The singer shared the photos on her Instagram page and the culprit was eventually arrested.
Being a victim of blackmail, Salawa Abeni took to social media to thank Nigerians and the police for their efforts in arresting the blackmailer as she said that she was not his first victim.

Earlier it was reported that the Rapid Response team of the Police Force arrested the person behind the attempted blackmail of the music icon over her nude photos.
The 19-year-old suspect identified as Olufowoke Oladunjoye Emmanuel who is a resident of Peace Estate in Magboro, Ogun state, admitted to the police, to being behind the blackmail and stated he acted alone.
According to the police report, Emmanuel was picked up by the Decoy Team of Rapid Response Squad on May 28.
