Covid-19 has dealt a big blow on Brazil as the nation
recorded 1,349 coronavirus deaths in a 24-hour period on Wednesday.
The President, Jair Bolsonaro has furiously decried the isolation measures – as infections and deaths soar to the skies.
Brazil’s death toll, which has doubled in 17 days, is the fourth-highest in the world trailing the US, Britain and Italy.
Brazil Ministry of Health made the disclosure as the lethal disease decimate the country.
With this, death toll hovers around 32,548, with 584,016 confirmed infections. This makes Brazil the second-highest caseload worldwide, after the United States.
Medical experts hinted that under-testing is an indication that the figure may be higher than what has been revealed.
