Nigeria’s COVID-19 total figure has surpassed the 14,000 mark after latest reports from across the country saw a record additional 681 new confirmed cases push the new total to 14,554 on Thursday night.
The lowest figures were recorded in Kebbi and Ondo where four cases were reported while Nasarawa had the lowest number for the day with just a single case.
According to the update by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, via its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, the breakdown of the new figures is as follows:
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in tweeting the latest update, also added a #TakeResponsibility, urging Nigerians to continue to observe all health and safety guidelines.
The latest update still saw Lagos the as epicentre of the disease in Nigeria.
