A university student in Italy, Matteo Valdambrini, who referred to himself as the devil allegedly leads a Satanic sect and sexually abused young people.
He forced people to have sex with him telling them the the act would help them exorcise demons.
He served his ‘cult members’ human meat on New Year’s Eve of 2018, which he claimed to have bought from a man selling bodies in Florence.
‘The Devil’ is also accused of convincing members to perform sexual acts with him under the guise that they would receive supernatural power. Daily Mirror reported that he forces them to eat what he said was human flesh.
He is under arrest in Italy after the allegations surfaced and has been charged with 13 counts of sexual violence, slavery, and having images of child abuse.
He allegedly forced at least 13 young people, some aged 17, to suffer sexual violence in the forests of Prato between 2018 and 2019.
‘The Devil’ studied at Firenze University and ‘lied’ to his victims they had been chosen as ‘Messiahs’ of the world.
He sourced his victims by looking for vulnerable people online and through word of mouth and is alleged to have created a “resurrection ritual” where he would be strangled by new members of the sect. He then pretends to be ‘prophetically’ dead and resurrects later.
He allegedly threatened his victims to stop them from reporting the abuse. One girl was forced to have sex with him believing if she refused, her seven-year-old sister and parents would die.
Victims were reportedly forced to send naked pictures of themselves to the leader of the sect. On this premise, and as some of them were minors, he has been charged with child pornography.
The sect’s rituals reportedly consisted of physical violence. The victims are told to have their arms bitten so they could have supernatural powers “like vampires or werewolves”.
The suspect claimed he has supernatural powers to manifest as different creatures.
Police are investigating the allegations.
