Steaming the vagina appears cool but it has plenty down sides.
To cleanse, keep vagina in shape or make it smell nice may not need the VG to burn.
Stop sticking stuff in the VG or diluting the hot water (steam) with herbs and more to in the name of cleansing the vagina. Cleansing the vagina has other safe and cool measures.
The vagina is self cleansing so there’s usually no need to overly clean it as it restores its own PH balance all by itself.
The use of perfumed/scented/medicated may not be important. Water or mild soap is better and safer.
Steaming and the use medicated or antiseptic materials the uterus inside out may not be good for you.
It does not help balance the vagina PH/hormone level as popularly believed.
WHY YOU MUST NOT STEAM VAGINA
- Destroying Vagina’s ‘Good Bacteria’
Steaming the vagina can entirely disrupt the hormonal balance and the natural bacteria in that region. There are ‘good bacteria’ necessary to cleanse the vagina and when their functions are disrupted this could result in imbalances and even infections.
Clean the vagina with water and in extreme cases mild, unscented soap, NEVER douche. Eat more yoghurt, fruits et al to keep the area smelling fresh and retain the good bacteria.
You may burn the vagina while steaming and the lining between the bladder and rectum (where the vagina sits right next to). This may cause avoidable health problems.
Rather allow the vagina to breath: avoid tight pants, cut pubic hair and wear more cotton and desist from using anything perfumed but use lots of clean water. Often cleaning with clean water is always safe.
If steam the vagina is compulsory, it must be done under strict supervision by professionals or be extremely careful
