Vocal Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, Uche Ogbodo, and other Nigerians have stood up for Nigerian women who cry that their husbands rape them.
They differ with Anita Joseph, another actress after she recently faulted women who say they were raped by their husbands after telling the men they aren’t in the mood for sex.
In a viral video she tagged ”Talk with the OLAGUNJU”, Joseph advised that a woman’s body is the food of her husband and should be ready for him whenever he needs to ”feed from it.”
She preached it is wrong for women to tell their husbands they aren’t in the mood for sex.
Tonto Dike thinks otherwise and asserts that rape is possible in marriage. She said:”Anita, its 2000% possible for a husband can rape a wife. Rape is sex without consent and you can be raped by your spouse.
I believe we have a big job in sensitizing the public on RAPE”.
Uche Ogbodo toed Dike’s line saying: “It happens Anita and it’s wrong. Rape is Rape please, no matter the circumstance”.
Generally, opinion was divided on the matter as some women argue that women must be ready to sacrifice when their husbands demand for sex except in extreme circumstances when they are sick.
