Condolences are being sent out to the super fan’s Family, Mandla Sindane (also known as Mgijimi).
He was known as a super fan of the South African football club, Orlando Pirates, who never missed a game and always appeared on TV.
Mgijimi passed away on Tuesday the 28th of July at his home in Empumeleleweni Emalahleni, South Africa.
The cause of death has not been found but his brother (Johannes Thembinkosi Sindane) stated that he had been sick for a while, with a cough and being short breathed, and thought that he was getting better as he called them to say that he was feeling better not knowing that his death was nearing.
He also went on to say that their father was the one who found Mgijimi and brought the news upon the family that he had passed away.
Many people have taken to Twitter to pay their tribute and send their condolences to the family.
Johannes Sindane had stated that their phones have been ringing non-stop as well due to people wanting to send their condolences and know what happened.
Orlando Pirates has also expressed great sadness over the news, stating this on Twitter.
Mgijimi was a member of the National Football Supporters’ Association and has shown great love and support for his team.
