Who would have thought that having a lot of sex would ruin one’s relationship?
Cheating has always been a big issue in relationships and many people think that their partners cheat because they might not be satisfied in the bedroom, or that their partners will not leave them when they are sexually satisfied.
Professionals state that even if you give your partner all the sex you possibly can this will make them want to cheat.
The Assistant Professor, Andrea Meltzer, from Florida State University stated that sexual satisfaction is positively associated with infidelity suggesting that people who are more satisfied with their sex are more likely to engage in infidelity.
This means that a good amount of satisfying your partner sexually makes them want to cheat.
The Assistant Professor stated that the effect was surprising and she would like to look into it more before making a meaningful conclusion on the topic.
An American Neuroscientist, Dr. Nicole Prause, however, seems to be certain that this study is true and she states that people will cheat especially when they are confident that they will not get caught.
“One of the strongest predictors of infidelity is actually power at work, which many scientists think indicates those who are prone to cheat, will, when they have the ability to conceal it.” She said.
