A few Nigerian women who have tried to find love, have found “fake” husbands instead.

The fake husbands have made their lives hell and the women decided to quit the marriage.

Some of the female Nigerian celebrities who have left their marriages because of mistreatment include Tiwa Savage.

The first woman is Monalisa Chinda, a Nollywood actress, who stated, in 2014, that she was mistreated by her former husband, Dejo Richard, this led to her first divorce.

She recently got married to Victor Tonye Coker, in 2016.

She stated that her first marriage was not a success because of mistreatment and there was a lack of love.

The second woman is Tiwa Savage, a singer-songwriter, who has also opened up about being mistreated by her ex-husband, Tunji Balogun.

People were amazed because they thought the singer’s marriage was beautiful, while behind closed doors Tunji Balogun had allegedly been physically assaulting Tiwa, before and after their marriage.

Tiwa Savage then got into a relationship with Wizkid and seemed happy.

The third woman is Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, who stated that her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill had also been mistreating her by physically assaulting her several times in their marriage and he would insult her often.

She stated that her ex-husband would always bring in a pastor to their house after assaulting her and would never own up to his faults.

The fourth woman is Georgina Onuoha, a Nollywood actress, who was mistreated by her ex-husband, Dr. C Igwegbe.

She quit Nollywood when she got married to Dr. C Igwegbe who was a doctor in America, and she is now a single mother.

The fifth woman is Chika Ike who announced her third divorce and people started speculating that she was not a loyal wife and rumours began stating that she had gotten married for money.

She denied all the allegations and stated that her ex-husband had been physically assaulting her for many years until she decided to leave the marriage.
