A court hearing for the United States (US) teenager who has been accused of masterminding last month’s Twitter hack was interrupted on Wednesday with rap music and porn.
The hearing was held via Zoom call to discuss reducing bail terms that were set for the 17-year-old, who resides in Tampa US and was arrested last week Friday over the hacking of major US celebrities.
The 17-year-old pleaded not guilty and asked for a lower bail amount afterward.
Judge Christopher Nash suspended the case for a while but the interruptions with music and shrieking and pornography became so frequent.
Investigators view the young boy as the brains behind the mid-July cyber-attack that rocked Twitter, his name has not been revealed because he is a minor.
The hacker got into many Twitter accounts such as Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Elon Musk, after getting into the system he tricked some employees into giving up their credentials.
The hack affected about 130 people and tricked them into sending $100 000 in Bitcoin, promising that they would get it back doubled.
The bail for the 17-year-old was $725 000 and his lawyers were requesting to reduce it.
After the judge suspended the hearing the hacker started hacking again which made the judge resume the hearing.
The hacker disguised the user names as organisations such as CNN and BBC.
The judge eventually refused to reduce the bail amount.
The boy was arrested with two others who are 19 and 22, one of them lives in Britain.
