Colourism is rife in Africa among those who feel less handsome, beautiful and adorable because their skin is ‘black’.
Some of them bleach their skin because they claim it makes them more acceptable and respectable in the society.
They don’t believe in the saying: “Black is beautiful”.

Chika ‘Nancy’ Ike is a Nigerian actress, television personality, producer, business woman, philanthropist and former model.
She began her film career in 2005 when she played a minor character in the movie Sweet Love.
She got her first major role that same year in a movie titled ‘Bless the Child’ and has since played major roles in over a hundred movies.
