Actor and former WWE wrestler, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, revealed on Wednesday, the 2nd of September 2020, that his family recently tested positive for the coronavirus.
Johnson, 48-year-old, posted a video on his Instagram account and shared that he, his wife Lauren Hashian, 35-year-old, and their two daughters all tested positive for COVID-19 about three weeks ago but they have now recovered and are free of the virus.
He stated that this was one of the most challenging things he and his family have every gone through.
Explaining that testing positive for Covid-19 is different from overcoming injuries, or being evicted or being broke, which he has been more than a few times and he wished it was only him that tested positive instead of his whole family.
The former wrestler, who is now recovering said that he and his family are counting their blessings because they are aware that it isn’t always the case that people recover from Covid-19 and are stronger and healthier.
He stated that they were infected apparently by close friends who visited their home.
Dwayne Johnson also states that he has implemented new rules about guests visiting them.
Stating that it is not that he does not want his lived ones over at his house but he has to implement great discipline when having people over at his house.
He also urged people to wear their facemasks.
