Twitter reacts to Toni Braxton’s favourite South African artist being Nigerian.
Grammy award-winning singer Toni Braxton stated she’s had her best concert in South Africa and she got twitter users confused when she mentioned that a Nigerian singer named BOJ as her favourite South African artist.
In November 2019, Toni Braxton graced South Africa with her presence in Joburg and Cape Town during her As Long As I Live tour.
She took her fans down memory lane with some of her hit songs from the past.
The event was to celebrate her 25th anniversary in the music industry.
During a two hour question and answer session with her fans on Twitter, on Wednesday the 2nd of September 2020, the United States singer was asked about her best concerts, and she stated that her best wre South Africa and Australia at the Opera House.
Another fan asked the musician which South African artists she would like to collaborate with.
Toni Braxton’s response was unexpected, making South Africa’s Twitter go hystarical.
She stated that her absolute favourite is BOJ and that he has a song called Magic.
South African DJ Lulo Cafe told Toni Braxton that BOJ is not from South Africa, and Toni Braxton tried defending herself by stating that she found out about BOJ in South Africa but she knew that he is not South African.
Twitter users was having a confusing day trying to find out who BOJ is.
Meanwhile, Toni Braxton who recently released her 10th studio album, titled Spell My Name, was said to be the coolest celebrity by a fan during the Twitter question and answer session because she had been answering questions for two hours.
