Recently Amotekun arrested some set of Secondary School children who are influenced by Naira Marley and also acts like him for being a bad influence to their peers. This has caused an uproar among some Nigerian Youths.
In the video, a female narrator who is supposedly a teacher at the school described the arrested children as the ‘criminals in the school’ Naira Marley has reacted to this viral video and called this act ‘child abuse’ and added that the teachers and the securities with guns In the video should be arrested. He also said he owes the ‘Marlian kids’.

On 10 May 2019, the EFCC arrested Naira Marley alongside his friends Zlatan Ibile Tiamiu Kayode, Adewunmi Moses, and Abubakar Musa. They were arrested a day after he released the video for the controversial single “Am I A Yahoo Boy”.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) released Zlatan Ibile a few days later, and three others but kept the ‘Marlian President’ in their custody due to overwhelming evidence against him which he pled not guilty.
